Docker er en åpen kildekode-plattform for å automatisere prosessen med å bygge, frakte og kjøre applikasjoner inne i containere. Kubernetes går et skritt videre ved å tilby verktøyene som er nødvendige for å distribuere og administrere containerte applikasjoner i skala i et gruppert miljø.

I denne instruktørledede liveopplæringen (på stedet eller fjernkontrollen) vil deltakerne lære å lage og administrere Docker containere, og deretter distribuere et eksempelapplikasjon inne i en container. Deltakerne vil også lære å automatisere, skalere og administrere sine containeriserte applikasjoner i en Kubernetes klynge. Til slutt går treningen videre til mer avanserte emner, og vandrer deltakere gjennom prosessen med å sikre, skalere og overvåke en Kubernetes klynge.

OpenShift is a container application platform for deploying Docker and Kubernetes. It provides predefined application environments and helps to realize key DevOps principles such as reduced time to market, infrastructure as code, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD). OpenShift is maintained by Red Hat.

In this instructor-led, live training, participants will learn how to manage containers running on Docker, Kubernetes, and the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

- Create, configure, manage, and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters.
- Scale application deployments using Kubernetes.
- Secure OpenShift Platform Container.
- Monitor and gather metrics.
